Congratulations to the highest bidder for the Aunt Zelda gift certificates offered at the Museum Of Aviation's 22nd annual auction, raffle, and taste of local cuisine. Saturday July 14, 2007. We're proud to support the Museum and all it stands for. We'd also like to congratulate Amy McMilan of Macon as the winner in our ugly sofa contest Thanks to everyone that participated, we really received some "Unique" looking sofa pictures. Amy will receive a gorgeous new sofa, and hopefully she can "dispose" of her old one. |

For Immediate Release: Angela Edwards With Aunt Zelda's Furniture Is Named President Of The Georgia Home Furnishings Association. At the recent Georgia Home Furnishings Convention held in St. Simons, Angela Edwards With Aunt Zelda's Furniture was named president of that organization. The Georgia Home Furnishings Association is the nations largest independent state home furnishings association. The association was founded more than 50 years ago and consist of hundreds of independent home furnishing stores and factory representatives. "I am honored to have the confidence of the membership to continue to lead this vital association into the future" said Edwards. Mrs. Edwards will serve for one year as President. "My goal is to grow our membership and enhance the benefits we offer independent home furnishing stores" said Edwards. Mrs. Edwards also serves locally on the boards of The Macon Chamber Of Commerce, and the The Better Business Bureau. Aunt Zelda's is a locally owned store established in Macon, GA. in October 1995, and has been nationally recognized for their fresh approach to home furnishing retailing, as well as their innovative business philosophies and strategies. |
